"O günlerde Vaftizci Yahya ortaya çıktı, Yahudiye'nin vahşi doğasında vaaz veriyordu," (Matta 3:1)
<1>Vaftizci Yahya'nın (İlyas) yolu hazırlamak için Krayst'tan önce gelmesi bekleniyordu. İsa'nın kendisi havarilerine İlyas'ın çoktan gelmiş olduğunu fakat kimsenin onun kim olduğunu anlamadığını açıkladığında bunu deklare etmişti "ve ona her ne istedilerse onu yaptılar." Ancak sonradan havariler İsan'nın Vaftizci Yahya'dan bahsettiğini anladılar (Matta 17:11-13). <2>Dolayısıyla Vaftizci Yahya İsa'dan önce gelip onun için yolu hazırlayacak olan İlyas'ın reenkarnasyonu idi.
"Ve diyordu ki, Tövbe edin: Cennetin hükümdarlığı yaklaşmıştır." (Matta 3:2)
<3>Hem Yahya hem de İsa Cennet'in Hükümdarlığının müjdesini vaaz vermişlerdir. <4>Cennetin Hükümdarlıkları üç tanedir: Cennetteki Cennetin Hükümdarlığı (KOHOH), Dünyadaki Cennetin Hükümdarlığı (KOHOE)ve içteki Cennetin Hükümdarlığı KOHW (all three are shown in En Ulu İşaret'te bunların üçüde gözükmektedir.)
<5>Fakat, tüm insanlık egoistik işlerinden tövbe edip Rab'in Kanunlarını kabul edip, yürürlüğe koyunca ve İçteki Cennetin Hükümdarlığını ve Dünya üzerindeki Cennetin Hükümdarlığını kurunca (Cennetteki Cennetin Hükümdarlığı hali hazırda kurulmuştur) bu iç Hükümdarlık Rab'in hakimiyeti altında bir olur. Ancak bundan sonra O'nun Hükümdarlığı gelecektir ve "Onun Niyeti Dünya üzerinde yapılacaktır, cennette olduğu gibi."
<6>Bu yüzden hem Yahya hem de İsa insanlar eğer Cennet'in Hükümdarlığını kurmak istiyorlarsa kendilerinin bencil yollarından tövbe etmeleri gerektiğin vaaz vermişlerdir. <7>Onlar "biz sizi kurtarmaya geldik" dememişlerdir. Onlar tövbe ederek bencil yollardan vazgeçip, Yaradan'ın Kanunlarını izlemenin kişinin kendisine bağlı olduğunu öğretmişlerdir. Onlar aynı zamanda Yaradan ile birdiler!
"Nitekim Yaşeya peygamber aracılığı ile sözü edilen kişi Yahya'dır.Yaşeya söyle demişti; Vahşi alanda yükselen ses, Rab'in yolunu hazırlayın, geçeceği patikaları düzleyin diyor." (Matta 3:3)
<8>Böylece Yahya kendisinin Krayst'tan önce gelmesi beklenen İlyas olduğunu deklare etmiş oldu.
"Ve Yahya'nın deve tüyünden giysisi, belinde deriden kuşağı vardı. Tek yediği çekirge ve yaban balıydı." (Matta 3:4)
<9>Hayattaki karışıklıklar aklın alt üst olmasına sebep olur. Lüks hayat materyal şeylere bağlılık yaratır ve arzu ve aç gözlülüğü artırır, böylece akıl yanlış şekilde dünyevi hayata yönlenir. Bu sebebten Yahya basit bir hayat stilinde yaşıyordu, ki böylece daha yüksek düşüncelere ve Yaradan'a konsantre olabilsin. <10>Fakat bu kişinin kendini hayattan soyutlaması ve hayatın gerçek problemleri ile direk bir şekilde yüzleşmemesi anlamına gelmez.
<11>Surelerde "et" sözcüğü hayvanın eti anlamında kullanılmamıştır."Et" yemek anlamındadır.
"Kudüs'ün, bütün Yahudiye'nin ve tüm Şeria nehri yöresinin halkı ona geliyordu," (Matta 3:5)
<12>Because John had reached a very high level of consciousness, he attracted those whose eyes were opened. This spiritual attraction was so strong that, "went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan." <13>That is how a spiritual person should become -- a radiant, attractive personality that draws people to him from everywhere.
"günahlarını itiraf ederek, onun tarafından Şeria nehrinde vaftiz ediliyordu ." (Matta 3:6)
<14>They accepted John as a great Soul and allowed him to baptize them so that their past sins might be forgiven. They confessed to him because some people cannot create a personal relationship with God, so they need a mediator between themselves and the Lord. <15>However, the person who becomes a mediator should be spiritually very high and worthy to confess to, so that he is able to make the person (as his disciple) realize the true source of his power (God). That is why some seekers need a spiritual teacher.
<16>However, the best way to know the Lord is to hear what the Prophets have said, follow their words, and establish a personal relationship with God. Then you would not need a man to be a mediator, and God is the most trustworthy and the Holiest (truest).
"Ne var ki, Ferisilerle Sadukilerden birçok kişinin vaftiz olmak için kendisine geldiğini gören Yahya onlara şöyle seslendi: «Ey engerekler soyu! Gelecek olan gazaptan kaçmanız için sizi kim uyardı?" (Matta 3:7)
<17>However, he verbally attacked the spiritual leaders of the Jews as the "generation of vipers," because they taught what they did not follow themselves. They were false teachers. <18>Whoever does not teach that the only goal of life is to be(come) Divine, and he himself does not try to be(come) Divine (truth), is a false teacher. That is why both John and Esa attacked the Pharisees and Sadducees in this way.
"Bundan böyle tövbeye yaraşır meyveler verin:" (Matta 3:8)
"Kendi kendinize, biz İbrahim soyundanız' diye düşünmeyin. Ben size şunu söyleyeyim: Yaradan , İbrahim şu taşlardan çocuk yaratacak güçtedir ." (Matta 3:9)
<19>The only way these false leaders can be saved is through repentance and changing their hearts toward God and His Laws. However, these Pharisees and Sadducees had regarded themselves as the doctors of the laws, the chosen people, and the children of Abraham. So they had created big false egos. <20>It is very hard for anyone with so many concepts to accept a humble person like John to teach him the truth or baptize him. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for such a man to enter the Kingdom Of Heaven.
<21>But they were not aware that one of the missions of John and Christ was to disqualify them as the chosen people and finish the promise of the scepter given to Judah. Also, the lawgiving would be taken from them, "the scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh [Messiah] come." <22>The Shiloh was Esa the Messiah.
<23>That is why John told them that, "You should not be proud that you are the children of Abraham, because if you do not repent but continue to lag behind in your progress toward becoming Pure Consciousness (Divine), then God can, in the course of the evolutionary process, help these stones to raise up and become plants, animals, humans, and eventually reach Pure Consciousness or become Elected Ones as the children of Abraham. Yet you will be cast out to the outer darkness because of your big false egos."
"Balta şimdiden ağaçların köküne dayanmıştır. İyi meyve vermeyen her ağaç kesilip ateşe atılacak." (Matta 3:10)
<24>Again here John foresaw that the truth which will come through him and Christ will uproot their false teachings (trees) "which bringeth not forth good fruit."
"Gerçi ben sizi tövbe için suyla vaftiz ediyorum, ama benden sonra gelen benden daha güçlüdür. Ben O'nun çarıklarını çıkarmaya bile layık değilim. O sizi Kutsal Ruh ve ateşle vaftiz edecek:" (Matta 3:11)
<25>In fact, being baptized with The Holy Ghost (satva raja, or Fire) is the only true way of being baptized. Baptism by water is a symbol of that kind of baptism, because only after repentance and changing the way of life toward purification will a person receive The Holy Ghost and truly be baptized.
"Yabası elindedir. O harman yerini temizleyecek, buğdayını toplayıp ambara yığacak, ve samanı, hiç sönmeyen ateşte yakacaktır." (Matta 3:12)
<26>John taught that Christ would come to separate the good and bad, and judge between them in truth. He is the light and the truth. Those who are ready would be attracted to him, and those who were not ready would be blinded by it and go far astray.
<27>That is why any time a new revelation comes to earth, many are guided and many others will go astray.
"Daha sonra İsa, Yahya tarafından vaftiz edilmek üzere Celile'den Şeria nehrine, Yahya'nın yanına geldi." (Matta 3:13)
"Ne var ki Yahya, «Benim senin tarafından vaftiz edilmem gerekirken sen mi bana geliyorsun?» diyerek O'na engel olmak istedi?" (Matta 3:14)
"Ve İsa ona şu karşılığı verdi: «Şimdilik buna razı ol! Çünkü doğru olan her şeyi bu şekilde yerine getirmemiz gerekir.O zaman Yahya O'nun dediğine razı oldu." (Matta 3:15)
<28>Esa was initiated by John and his eyes would be opened to his mission.
"Ve İsa, vaftiz olur olmaz sudan çıktı. O anda gökler açıldı ve o Yaradan'nın Ruhunun güvercin gibi inip üzerine konduğunu gördü:" (Matta 3:16)
<29>After his spiritual eye was opened, he realized his divinity and closeness to the Lord. It is true that he was born from Pure Consciousness to the flesh and was the son of God. But he should have gone through life without knowing who he was until John came to open his eyes so that he would remember who he was and realize his mission.
"Göklerden gelen bir ses de şöyle dedi: Sevgili Oğlum budur, Ben O'ndan hoşnudum." (Matta 3:17)
<30>When he realized his divinity, then he remembered that he is the son of God, the First Begotten Son of God, who greatly pleased his Father.
